PAQ Items

For items in the PAQ, you can perform: View items not ready for sign-off. Accept an item and sign-off on it with or without actions. Assign other users to sign off the document. Add comments. Reject an item. Reassign an item. Create a task for an item. Send documents to NextGen® PxP Portal. Place the patient on a recall list that is automatically sent to NextGen® Enterprise PM. PAQ Tabs

The PAQ contains the following tabs. Pending Lists the items for which approval by the selected provider is pending. Rejected List the items rejected by the selected provider. History Lists the items accepted, rejected, and reassigned by the selected provider. You can select an item on any tab to view the details of the item. If you have the view items across practices preference set up, you can use the Practice list to view the items from a particular practice. You can also select the type of items to view in the Items list. Note: You can select or clear all the item selections using the Select All check box on the PAQ tabs. The selection of items filter on the Pending or Rejected tab is retained for the other tab but you must make a separate selection of items for the History tab. If at least one item is not selected in the Items list, the Select All check box gets cleared. The last selected items filter is retained on all the PAQ tabs. Mark PAQ items as Read or Unread in the Pending tab

In the PAQ tab of the Pending tab, you can mark the PAQ items as read or unread. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. On Top Toolbar, select Inbox to open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab.In the Pending tab, the unread items appears in bold format. To mark the item as read or unread, do the following: To mark an item as read, select the item. To mark the item as unread, right-click the item and then select Mark as Unread. Note: You can mark a PAQ item as unread only after you upgrade NextGen® Enterprise EHR to the latest version. Only the PAQ items present in the Pending tab appear in bold. When you move a PAQ item from the Pending tab to the Rejected or History tab, the PAQ item does not appear in bold format. Parent topic: PAQ Tabs

View PAQ History

The History tab in the PAQ enables you to search for items that a provider or delegate has signed off, rejected, or reassigned. The History tab is blank the first time you select it or if you switch tabs. You can view the history of an item by searching for the item. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, open the Workflow module On the Provider Approval Queue tab, select the History tab From the Events list, select the status of the items. From the Items list, select the item types. Note: You can select or clear all the item selections using Select All check box. If at least one item is not selected in the Items list, the Select All check box gets cleared. The last selected items filter is retained on the History tab. In the By: field, select one of the following by options. Your user name. To see items that only you have handled. All Others. To see all items that others have handled. To narrow your search to a specific time frame, select When, and then do one of the following: To search within

In the PAQ tab of the Pending tab, you can mark the PAQ items as read or unread. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
