Working with eRx Refill Requests from the Medications Icon

The Manage Refills window displays the patient's demographic information, provider information, pharmacy information, and the refill request details. This information is sent from Surescripts. You can either approve or deny the refill request. After you respond to a Refill Request from the Workflow > Clinical Tasking list, the request is no longer available in the Medications module and the Workflow window. View Refill Requests from the Medications Module You can view new eRx refill requests from the Medications module. Approve an eRx Refill Request from the Manage Refills Window You can approve an eRx refill request using the manage refills window. Deny an eRx Refill Request from the Manage Refills Window You can deny an eRx refill request task and select Denial - New prescription to follow reason from the Manage Refills window. There are two types of eRx refill requests. eRx Refill Requests from the Workflow Module Inbox

A patient Inclusion or Exclusion List may restrict your access to eRX refill requests. If you are a workflow delegate for another user or provider, you may not be able to access the same refill requests as that person. If you do not have access to a patient, the message "Restricted" appears under the Patient Name, Subject, and Description columns.
