Create Welch Allyn® Spirometry Reports
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Open the Integrated Equipment Module From the Acquire Report list, select Welch Allyn Spirometry. Capture an spirometry report as described in the appropriate Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® spirometry user manual. Close the Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® Workstation application to return to the IEM.A new Welch Allyn Spirometry report appears in the IEM grid and an (Equipment Report) indicator appears in the History toolbar under the encounter. If you confirmed the interpretation, the Test Status column in the IEM grid displays Confirmed; otherwise, it displays UNCONFIRMED. Create Welch Allyn® Resting ECG Reports
Before you begin Before you start recording, ensure that the device is connected to the PC. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Open the Integrated Equipment Module. From the Acquire Report list, select Welch Allyn ECG.The Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® Workstation application starts and opens the ECG capture screen. Capture an ECG as described in the appropriate Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® resting ECG user manual. Close the Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® application to return to the IEM.A new Welch Allyn Resting ECG report appears in the IEM grid and an (Equipment Report) indicator appears in the History toolbar under the encounter. Import Tests from Welch Allyn®
If a test exists in the Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® application but not in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can import it to the IEM. This scenario can occur if: The provider is using a Welch Allyn® application before its integration with NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The network is down and the test was recorded locally. Welch Allyn® equipment can send test results to a Welch Allyn® application but not NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Note: Statements in this section apply to both Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ and CardioPerfect® devices, except where otherwise specified. For resting ECG and spirometry devices, the example screen shots are all from Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ . If you are using CardioPerfect 1.6.4 or later with multiple sites, you must ensure to match the site names in the Site Manager setup and the EHR practice.
