Immunizations System Rights and Permissions

System Administrator needs to assign appropriate rights and permission to user groups so that only appropriate groups can perform certain tasks. The default setting for all rights is set to Yes. Set up the Task Recipients by Practice

Users can view and assign tasks to other users or groups while saving an order, when Task Recipients by Practice preference is set to True. In System Administrator, select View > Universal Preferences. Select Workflow. Double-click Task Recipients by Practice. To display users for a current practice while working in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders module or Immunizations module, set the Task Recipients by Practice value to True. Set Up Rights for Applying Order Preferences Across Practices

When creating or updating order preferences, such as required fields, Vaccine Inventory information or the Vaccine Schedule, users can apply these changes to an individual practice or across practices. These rights are set up in System Administrator > Operations and the default is Yes. If your practice does not need to provide order or vaccine information across all practices, set this option to No. Note: If you set the Apply Order Preferences across Practices rights to No, you cannot select all practices when copying order preferences across practices (such as required fields), setting up the Vaccine Inventory, or updating the Vaccine Schedule in File Maintenance. Open Sysytem Administrator and enter your credentials. Select the practice. Select the user group to whom you want to give Orders module rights. Select the Rights tab. Setting up Rights and Preferences for the Immunizations Module

The System Administrator should work closely with the core team of the practice to ensure that appropriate rights, preferences, SAP® Crystal Reports®, other reports, and other tasks are set up for the user groups. The administrator needs to update the Setup when the business needs change for the practice. Some functions and preferences are same for the Immunizations module and the Orders module. Therefore, if you are using the Orders module, ensure that you set up the preferences for the Orders module before you set up the Immunizations module. Access the Immunizations Practice Preferences

In File Maintenance, select System > Practices > Preferences. The Practices List window opens. Locate and then double-click your practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens.
