Access the Immunizations Practice Preferences

In File Maintenance, select System > Practices > Preferences. The Practices List window opens. Locate and then double-click your practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select the Default Registry for a Location

If your practice has providers in multiple locations, you can select the default registry for each location. CAUTION: If you set up the default registry for a location, the systems uses this preference as the default over the practice default. In File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > EHR > Locations. Select and open a location. On the Location Information window, select the Order Module tab. Select the Default Registry

You can select your practice's default registry. This registry is selected by default, when a user creates or updates Immunizations orders. If your practice has multiple locations, you can set up the Default Registry for location. For more information on how to select default registry for location, see Select the Default Registry for a Location. Access the Immunizations Practice Preferences. Set up Billing Error Notification

You can select a user group to be notified when there is a billing error, for example, when an immunization charge fails to be processed. In File Maintenance, select System > Practices > Preferences. The Practices List window opens. Locate and then double-click your practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens. In the Preference List, select Orders Module, and then select the All tab. Select the appropriate group in Group to Notify for Failed Charges. Select OK. Set Up the Group to Notify for Failed Test Charges

If charge posting fails for any reason, you can identify who in your practice you want to send a notification to for any failed test charges. There is a field on the Order module practice preferences to set this value. Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. Select Orders Module in the Preference List. Select the Folder button on the Group to Notify for Failed Charges field. In the Available Users and Groups section, select to highlight which group to notify. Select the Right Blue-Arrow to add that group to the Notified Users list. Select OK to save the value. Setting up Immunizations Practice Preferences

After setting up the Vaccine Inventory and the VIS documents, determine the Immunizations options for your practice.
