Review Test Results
You can open the order and result detail in the Orders Summary tab.
Open the Orders module.
The
Results
tab is in view by default.
If the default initial tab view has been changed, select the
Results
tab to open it.
The results appear for the default
All
filter.
To view results for a private or practice filter, select the filter in the
Results
tab
Filters
bar.
The results appear for the selected filter.
To view additional information for a result, select the result value in the
Collection Date & Time
column.
The bottom of the
Results
tab shows the result value, status, applicable test units, any abnormal flag, the normal range, and any comments.
To copy the text, select
Select All
and
Copy.
You can paste it in another document or template.

View an Imported Result
You can view an order and imported result in the results grid. Open the Orders module. Select the Results tab. In the Results grid, select the imported result. The result appears in the Results history section. Select Go to Order. The order and the imported result details opens in the Orders Summary tab. Parent topic: Completed Results Tab View

Completed Results Tab View
From the Results tab, you can do the following: View completed lab test results by their short, long, or NextGen description in a flow sheet format. View results for all orders using the pre-defined All filter or view only results for orders displayed in a user-defined private or practice filter. Display results for similar tests together on the flow sheet using LOINC codes. Assign delegates to view confidential lab results. View or add comments for order results. Completed Results Information
The Results tab provides the following information for completed test results: The tests are listed in alphabetical order on the left. For each test, the Results tab displays Collection date and time columns showing each specimen collection date and time. An asterisk (*) indicates that the specimen collection date and time were not available so the creation time of the order was used. The columns are sorted starting with the most recent results, from left to right. Columns are re-sizable. The rows with bold text and gray shading indicate result history. An underline in the results indicates a comment. Color on a result indicates abnormal results. The Flags field (abnormal/normal flag) determines the text color of a cell. Red numbers indicate results returned higher than the normal range; Blue numbers indicate results lower than the normal range. Magenta numbers indicate abnormal findings. Cells with Black text indicate the value is within the normal range. Cells with a Grey background

Add or View Order Result Comments
You can view and add comments for an order test result. On the Results grid, select a patient’s numerical test result in a Collection Date & Time column. Select Tracking from the Results toolbar. You can view any comments that were entered previously. To add a comment, select Add. Another Sign-off and Tracking Comments window opens, displaying the patient's information. Select Tracking as the comment Type. Enter a comment regarding the order results. If applicable, select My Phrases to select an appropriate phrase. Do one of the following: To simply save the comments, select Save. If you add comments that require another user or group to perform a task, select Save & Task and select the recipient. Open the Order and Result Details in the Orders Summary Tab
From the Results tab, you can select a test order result and automatically open that order and the result details on the Orders Summary tab. On the Results tab, select the result value in a Collection Date & Time column, and then select Go to Order on the Results tab Top toolbar. The Orders Summary tab opens. Custom Result Filters
You can filter test results by test description, result description, result flags, and/or collection date range. You can use filter option in any combination. Open a patient document in the TX Text viewer. Right-click in the patient document, and select Insert Lab Results from the Viewer Document menu. The Select lab results window opens. From the Date Range list, select Custom or select Custom. The Set Results Filter window opens. Enter the filter criteria that you want to apply. To filter results on a specific test, in the Enter test description to filter section, enter the name or partial name of a test. Select Add Test or select the ENTER key. The test description appears in the filter window. To change the description, select and enter over it, and then select Update Test. To delete the description, select it, and then select Delete Test.
