Quick Buttons in NextGen® Enterprise EHR

Quick Buttons	Label	Description
	Lab Results	Opens the Review Patient Results window displaying the patient's completed laboratory tests' results. The Go to Order button on the Review Patient Results window opens the Orders module displaying the order details associated with a result.
	Medications	Displays a quick list of the patient's active medications when hovered over. Opens the Medications module when selected.
	Problems	Displays a quick list of the patient's active medical problems when hovered over. Opens the Problem List tab in the Problems module when selected.
	Appointments	Displays a list of future and past appointments for the patient when hovered over.
	Immunizations Due	Displays a quick list of the patient's overdue immunization status when hovered over. Opens the Immunizations tab of the Orders module when selected. Note: You can customize the initial view of the Orders Module.
	Vital Signs	Displays a quick list of the patient's recorded vital signs when hovered over. Opens the Vital Sign History window when selected.
	Orders	Displays a quick list of the patient's most recent orders when hovered over. Opens the Orders Summary tab of the Orders module when selected. Note: You can customize the initial view of the Orders Module.
	Care Guidelines Items Due	Displays a quick list of the patient's Care Guidelines when hovered over. Opens the Care Guidelines Paged View window when selected.
	Sticky Note	Opens the Patient Information window when selected.
	Allergies	Displays a quick list of the patient's medication allergies when hovered over. Opens the Medication Allergies module when selected.
	Data Share	Opens the Data Share module when selected.
	Diagnoses List	Displays a quick list of the patient's active diagnoses when hovered over. Opens the Billing ICD List tab in the Problems module when selected.

View Care Guidelines

You can view a quick list of the patient's Care Guidelines for due and overdue items. Additionally, you can open the Care Guidelines module to manage Health Maintenance and Disease Management functions, including guideline testing and screening, and recommended care. For more information on Care Guidelines, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Care Guidelines User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. To view a quick list of the patient's Care Guidelines, on the Quick Buttons panel, hover over Care Guidelines Items Due.The Care Guidelines Items Due table appears displaying the last calculated date and a list of recently ordered Care Guidelines items for the patient that are due and overdue. View Order History

Before you begin You must ensure that you have the View access right enabled in MODULES > Medical Records > Orders in System Administrator. For more information on user access rights, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise. You can view a quick list of the patient's most recent orders, sorted by newest to oldest, and also open the Order Summary tab in the Orders Module for a detailed view of the patient's orders history. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. To view a quick list of the patient's most recent orders, on the Quick Buttons panel, hover over Orders.The Orders table appears displaying the status, ordered date, order item description, and time frame or encounter date, or administration date, depending on the type of the order. View Patient's Immunization Status

Before you begin You must ensure that you have the View access right enabled in MODULES > Medical Records > Orders in System Administrator. You can view the patient's overdue vaccines, that is, vaccine series that are past due, due now, and pending.
