View Patient's Immunization Status

Before you begin

You must ensure that you have the View access right enabled in MODULES > Medical Records > Orders in System Administrator. For more information on user access rights, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise.
You can view the patient's overdue vaccines, that is, vaccine series that are past due, due now, and pending. You can also open the Orders Module for more details on the patient's immunization order history. For more information on immunizations, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Immunizations Module User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
  2. To view a quick list of the patient's immunization status, on the Quick Buttons panel, hover over Immunizations Due.
    The Immunizations Due table appears displaying a list of the vaccine series names that have the Past Due, Due Now, and Pending status.

  3. To open the Orders module and check the order history, validity of doses, and create orders on the Quick Buttons panel, select Immunizations Due.
    The Immunizations tab in the Orders module opens.
