You can capture and attach an image from a web camera or video device to a finding and save it to the patient's chart.
From the Findings Grid, select the finding row that you want to capture an image for.
Select the Acquire Image button at the top right of the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component window.
The Camera Capture window opens.
The system attempts to find connected cameras. If a connection is made, the current real-time image appears. If no camera is present, a blank window appears.
If you have multiple cameras, select the applicable one from the Device list.
If a device settings window opens, review the settings, and adjust them, as needed.
To capture the image, select Camera.
The device streams video to the window.
To freeze the video stream, select Snapshot.
Select OK to capture the currently displayed image.
A small camera icon appears under the Camera column for the selected finding row. The image appears in the PHOTO pane at the lower left corner of the GET component window.
Select the Save the Annotated Image to Chart button at the upper-right of the image window.
The new image file labeled with the Finding Name - Region Description and is added under the current encounter in the Encounter History tab.
