Find a Topic with Recommended Search

The Recommended Search tab displays items in groups related to the module, order types, and NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine patient education triggers associated with the patient. You can select search functions in the following groups when they are listed: assessments, medications, orders, procedures/diagnostics/radiology, allergies, office supplies, office procedures, office medications, and office labs. For example, if the patient has a medication in the Medications module and a problem added in the Problems module, available patient education material related to the medication and the problem might be listed in this section under the headings Allergies and Problem List.

When you select a recommended search item, the browser searches the internal resource by default on that item and displays the search results. Because the recommended search is based on information in the patient chart, documents found through this method meets the Meaningful Use standard.
