Configure Data Share Module Settings

You can configure settings that affect all users of the Data Share module. To configure these settings, your account must have the OPERATIONS > Medical Summary/Data Share > Allow Options Edit right enabled in System Administrator. Note: Data Share module settings also affect the Medical Summary Utility. In the Data Share pane, select Open the Data Share Settings Slider Open the Data Share Settings Slider. Open the Data Share Settings Slider A pane opens to display configuration settings for the Data Share module. Data Share Settings Pane View or modify the values of any options. Select Apply or Cancel. The settings pane closes. Set Practice Defaults for Processing Orders

On the Practice Configuration template, scroll down to the Orders/Plans section. In the My Plan/Order Processing row, you can select any of the following options as the default for processing orders: Process - enables the Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template to automatically launch when you click Place Order Task- a template automatically launches to easily send a task to another user Ask- enables choices for how the template appears Click Save and Close. Set the Practice Default for the Release of Information

To access Practice Preferences, do one of the following: Select the Admin > menu > Preferences > Practice. In File Maintenance, select Master Files - System and select Practices. Double-click a practice, and then select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens Select the Chart Practice Preferences. Select the appropriate option from the Release of Information field. Set a Practice-Level Default Page

You can setup a practice-level default procedure page. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the Default Settings panel. In the Category field, select the category from which the desired procedure page belongs. The Default Page grid displays all procedure pages associated with the selected category. Open the Practice Configuration Template

Open the NTS Practice Config practice template from the Specialty Config Home system template so you can configure settings and preferences for your practice. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Show section, select All. On the System tab, select Specialty Config Home, and then select OK.
