Configure the Default Procedure Page for a Practice

You can setup a practice-level default procedure page on the Default Settings panel of the Common Procedure Configuration practice template. You can also setup an alert to appear, when provider adds the procedures to patient history. The alert prompts the provider to enter the date of surgery and surgeon name. Default Settings panel on the Common Procedure Configuration template Note: If the date of surgery or surgeon name is unknown at time of entry, the provider can bypass the alert. Set a Procedure Page as a Provider’s Default

You can set a procedure page as a default for a specific provider. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the Procedure Code Configuration panel. From the Page Name grid, select the desired page. In the field below the Provider column of the grid, select the desired provider. Remove a Provider's Default Procedure Page

You can remove a procedure page from being the default for a provider. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the Procedure Code Configuration panel. In the Page Name grid, select the desired page. Click in the field below the Provider column of the grid. The IORTS Px Provider Dbpl window opens. Create a Procedure Page

You can create a procedure page. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the Procedure Code Configuration panel. In the field below the Page Name column of the grid, enter the desired name for the procedure page. In the field below the Category column of the grid, select a category; PMH or OrthoSx. The category determines from which history grid the procedure pages are viewable. Add button in the Procedure Code Configuration panel Click Add. The new page appears in the grid. Copy a Procedure Page

You can copy a procedure page to create a new procedure page. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the Procedure Code Configuration panel. From the Page Name grid, select the desired page. Click Copy. The Enter New Page Name window opens. Enter New Page Name window Enter a name for the new page, and click OK. Create a Procedure Group

On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the PX Group Configuration panel. In the field below the Procedures Groups grid, type the group name. Click Add. In the Procedures Groups grid select the newly created procedure group. From the All Procedures grid, select a procedure. You can search for specific procedures using filter fields above the All Procedures grid. Click the right-pointing arrow to move the procedure to the Procedures grid. The Procedures grid displays procedures in the selected procedure group. Filter section in the PX Group Configuration panel To add more procedures to the procedure group, repeat steps 5 and 6.
