Procedure Code Configuration

You can create and manage procedure pages from the Procedure Code Configuration panel of the Common Procedure Configuration practice template. You can set default pages based on provider build new or edit existing procedure pages, add and edit procedure codes or procedure groups on the pages, and copy or delete pages. Set a Practice-Level Default Page

You can setup a practice-level default procedure page. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the Default Settings panel. In the Category field, select the category from which the desired procedure page belongs. The Default Page grid displays all procedure pages associated with the selected category. Procedures Configuration

You can build procedure pages and groups in the Common Procedure Configuration practice template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add procedures to the patient’s history. You can set default pages based on the rendering provider or practice, and you can also copy procedure pages. The Common Procedure Configuration practice template has the following panels: Procedure Code Configuration PX Group Configuration Default Settings Note: NextGen Healthcare recommends you to start Procedures Configuration from the PX Group Configuration panel. Set a Procedure Page as a Provider’s Default

You can set a procedure page as a default for a specific provider. On the IORTS Px Common Cfg practice template, expand the Procedure Code Configuration panel. From the Page Name grid, select the desired page. In the field below the Provider column of the grid, select the desired provider. Setup a Default Assessment Page

You can setup a default assessment page for a practice or a provider. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. In the Common Assessment Pages grid, select the desired assessment page. In the field below the Rendering column of the Common Assessment Pages grid, select a practice or provider. Set Practice Defaults for Processing Orders

On the Practice Configuration template, scroll down to the Orders/Plans section. In the My Plan/Order Processing row, you can select any of the following options as the default for processing orders: Process - enables the Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template to automatically launch when you click Place Order Task- a template automatically launches to easily send a task to another user Ask- enables choices for how the template appears Click Save and Close.
