Change Graph Colors

You can change the colors used on the graph for the background, patient, and each percentile. You can select a different background color from a list of basic colors or existing custom colors, or create your own custom color. White is the default background color. You can also use a gradient background. To activate the color display, select the Custom check box on the Options window. To change the background color, select the Background color swatch. The Color window appears, showing Basic colors and any previously created Custom colors. To use an existing color, select a color in the Basic colors or Custom colors palette. To define a custom color, follow the instructions in Create a Custom Color. Select OK. The selected color displays as the Background color swatch on the Options window. Select Graph Display Options

You can select options to: Change the monthly or yearly interval range on your graph. Change the background, patient, or percentile color on your graph. From the Growth Chart Graph menu, select Options. The Options window opens. Change the interval ranges or colors as required. To apply and view your changes on the graph, select Apply. Modify an Individual Guideline Item for a Patient

You can modify an individual guideline item for a patient on the Care Guidelines Paged View template. An orderable guideline item can be modified at the patient level. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Care Guidelines Paged View template. For an orderable guideline item, select the link below the item’s name. Dental Exam The Modify Intervals and Effective Ages template opens. The Current section shows the values for Interval, Start age, and Stop age currently set for the orderable item. The Default section shows the default standard values for Interval, Start age, and Stop age for the orderable item. These values are configured on the Care Guidelines Setup practice template in the Intervention/Orders Setup panel in the Standard settings section. Growth Chart Graph Menu

After you generate a growth chart, you can right-click the graph to display the Growth Chart Graph menu. Note: The commands on this menu vary based on the age of the patient and the growth chart type. A command is dimmed if it is unavailable for the displayed graph. The following table describes each type of command: Command Description Plot Premature Patients who are considered premature and have a gestational age of 50 weeks or less default to the premature plot. A check mark indicates that this plot is adjusted automatically for prematurity. Premature plots are not generated for Turner syndrome patients. Plot (Age range) Displays the age range(s) that can be plotted for this type of graph. The following age ranges may be shown depending on the patient's age and type of graph: 0-24 months, 0-36 months, 2-18 years, 1-20 years, or 2-20 years. Generate a Timeline Chart

You can generate a Timeline graph to display data for all order results, medications, diagnoses, and a selected subset of vital signs. You can define the template and field names for the selected vital signs in the Graphing section of Universal Preferences in System Administrator. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen Enterprise. By default, the graph displays the most recent year of data. You can set a specific time range instead. Open the patient to graph a timeline chart for. From the File menu, select Graph and then Timeline. The Graph Timeline Chart tab opens. Note: The graph is always measured and titled as Date & Time vs. Units. Graph Multiple Results for a Test

You can graph the results of tests repeated several times for the same patient. The graph uses all the results for the same tests that are displayed on the results flow sheet. If you filter the results, only the selected test data is shown in the graph. You can graph the results in the order they were returned or have the most recent results displayed first in the graph. In the Results tab, select in the row for a test that has been performed on more than one date. On the Results tab Top toolbar, select Graph. The Plotted results fortest window opens, displaying a graph of all the selected results. The Show earliest results first check box is selected by default to display the earliest results first in the graph. To show the latest results first, clear the Show earliest results first check box. To change the minimum or maximum Y-axis value, enter the new value in the field, and select Update. The revised number appears on the Y-axis. If required, select the Calculate range from result
