Billing Questions

The Billing Questions call type concerns communications that involve questions about billing issues and information. Select the New Call button and select Billing Questions from the Call Type list. The Panels and Panel Items opens. Select the Call Information and Contact Information panel items from the panels. Select Billing Issue. The Billing Issue option appears. Billing Issue In the Billing Issue panel, select the panel items. In the Date of Service panel, select Date of service, and select billing issue date. Select Action(s). The Action(s) option appears. Action(s) Select the Action(s) associated with the call. You can select more than one. Note: Select Sent letter due to inability to contact generates a document that can be sent to the patient. For more information, see Inability to Contact Letter. Select Call Status and select a status for the call. In the Comments section, enter any comments related to the call or attach a phrase. Select Add. The call is saved and logged on to

Medical Questions

The Medical Questions call type concerns communications that involve questions or concerns from a patient about his or her health. Select the New Call button and select Medical Questions from the Call Type list. The Panels and Panel Items opens. Select the Call Information and Contact Information panel items from the panels. Select Concern. The Concern option appears. Concern Select the specialty from the Specialty list. Select a Concern, the Duration of the concern, and any Comments related to the concern. Select Action(s). The Action(s) option appears. Select the Action(s) associated with the call. You can select more than one. Note: Select Sent letter due to inability to contact generates a document that can be sent to the patient. For more information, see Inability to Contact Letter. Select Call Status and select a status for the call. In the Comments section, enter any comments related to the call or attach a phrase. Select Add. Forms/Records Requests

The Forms/Records Requests call type concerns communications that involve requests for forms and records to be sent to a patient. Select the New Call button and select Forms/Records Request from the Call Type list. The Panels and Panel Items opens. Select the Call Information and Contact Information panel items from the panels. Select Request. The Request option appears. Request Select the type of Request, the Date Needed for the requested form or record, and the Delivery method for the request. Select Action(s). The Action(s) option appears. Select the Action(s) associated with the call. You can select more than one. Note: Select Sent letter due to inability to contact generates a document that can be sent to the patient. For more information, see Inability to Contact Letter. Select Call Status and select a status for the call. In the Comments section, enter any comments related to the call or attach a phrase. Select Add. Referrals

The Referrals call type concerns communications that involve referring a physician to a patient. Select the New Call button and select Referrals from the Call Type list. The Panels and Panel Items opens. Select the Call Information and Contact Information panel items from the panels. Select Requested Referral. The Requested Referral option appears. Requested Referral Select the specialty from the Requested Specialty list. Select a physician to refer to the patient from the Physician list. Select Action(s). The Action(s) option appears. Select the Action(s) associated with the call. You can select more than one. Note: Select Sent letter due to inability to contact generates a document that can be sent to the patient. For more information, see Inability to Contact Letter. Select Call Status and select a status for the call. In the Comments section, enter any comments related to the call or attach a phrase. Test Results Request

The Test Results Request call type concerns communications that involve test results for a patient. Select the New Call button and select Test Results Request from the Call Type list. The Panels and Panel Items opens. Select the Call Information and Contact Information panel items from the panels. Select Test Results. The Test Results option appears. Select the Test results from, the Date (if known), and the Test Description. If you require lab results for a patient, select Lab Test Results and select the relevant lab results from the pop up. Select Action(s). The Action(s) option appears. Select the Action(s) associated with the call. You can select more than one. Other

The Other call type concerns communications that do not fit into any of the pre-defined categories. Select the New Call button and select Other from the Call Type list. The Panels and Panel Items opens. Select the Call Information and Contact Information panel items from the panels. Select Communication. The Communication option appears. Communication Enter information about the call in the Comments section. Select Action(s). The Action(s) option appears. Select the Action(s) associated with the call. You can select more than one.
