Associate Multiple Images from the Findings Data Grid

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient. Select an existing encounter or create an encounter. Open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component. The GET component window opens. Select FINDINGS and annotate the GET image. A new row is added in the Findings Data Grid with the findings details. Right-click the findings in the Findings Data Grid, and select Attach Image. The Select Image window opens. Select the image and select Open. The image is added to the Photo section with the following format: Finding Name-Region Description( x. x). You can add multiple images to the Photo section. In the Photo section, you can perform the following: Select the Original icon to view and zoom the image. Select the Manage Images icon to move images up, down, and delete. Select the Close icon to close the image. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR toolbar, select Save. All the images saved to the patient's chart are renamed to the Image Description that is Finding Name-Region De

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR Select a patient. Select an existing encounter or create an encounter. On the Top Toolbar, select the Images module and add images to the patients chart. Open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component. The GET component window opens. Select the Options and Settings Popup Menu icon and then select Show Findings Images. From the IMAGE pane, select the Images check box, select FINDINGS and annotate the GET image. The selected images no longer appear on the IMAGES pane. A new row is added in the Findings Data Grid with the findings details. An icon appears in the Findings Data Grid row denoting that multiple images are attached to the finding. The Photo section of the GET component appears. The image is added to the Photo section with the following format: Finding Name-Region Description( x. x). The Finding Images feature enables you to attach an image to each finding. You can attach an image file saved to your file system or the patient's chart for the current encounter. Select a patient. Select an existing encounter or create a encounter. Open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component. The GET component window opens. Select the Options and Settings Popup Menu icon and select Finding Images. The Finding Images window opens. From the IMAGES pane, drag an image to a FINDING and repeat as needed. As images are added to the Finding, the image count displays as 1 of x, 2 of x, and so on (where x is the total number of images). The format for the description is as follows: Finding Name - Region Description( x. y) where x represents the sequential number of multiple images sets and y represents the image number in the set. For example, Acne-R120(1.1), Acne-R120(1.2), Acne-R120(1.3), Acne-R121(2.1), Acne-R121(2.2), Acne-R121(2.3), and so on. Note: Select the

Graphical Exam Tool Annotations

The Graphical Exam Tool (GET) enables you to: Place annotations on images to document the location of findings. The placement of the annotations is converted into text and captured as an attribute of the finding. The attributes are saved to the patient's chart. For example, a dermatologist can place findings for cancer on an image. The attributes related to each finding can include size, color, location, or description. Attach a finding to a chief complaint or reason for visit. You can attach multiple findings to different reasons for visit. Mark a finding for follow-up and create a to-do task for the finding. Attach an image (photo or drawing) to a finding. The image can be from the provider's file system or from the patient's chart for the current encounter. You can capture an image from a web cam or other video device for attachment to the finding. Create and update a lab, radiology, or immunizations order for a finding. The Graphical Exam Tool (GET) enable the document macro{grp_get_exam_data} to filter the finding images by Reason for Visit and enable multiple images relate to a single finding to appear in a document. You can generate a separate document for each reason for visit or procedure, and the Reason For Visit column is available in the document macro. As a result, the images from all the procedures are displayed on all the individual procedure documents. Attach Images to a Finding

Each finding can have one image attached to it. After an image is attached, you can attach a different image to the finding. The previous image remains in the patient's chart. You can attach images to findings in the following ways: Attach an image file stored on your file system or saved to the patient's chart for the current encounter. Attach a photo stored on your file system. Import a web camera or video device image. Each attached image has a unique name. If you attach an image from your file system or a web cam/video device, the GET names it as finding name - region description. If you attach an image that has the same name (description) as another image attached to a different finding, the name is followed by a number in parentheses. For example: Basal Cell Skin Cancer, Basal Cell Skin Cancer (2), and Basal Cell Skin Cancer (3).
