Associate Multiple Images from the Findings Data Grid

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select a patient.
  3. Select an existing encounter or create an encounter.
  4. Open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component.
    The GET component window opens.
  5. Select FINDINGS and annotate the GET image.
    A new row is added in the Findings Data Grid with the findings details.

  6. Right-click the findings in the Findings Data Grid, and select Attach Image.
    The Select Image window opens.
  7. Select the image and select Open.
    The image is added to the Photo section with the following format: Finding Name-Region Description( x. x). You can add multiple images to the Photo section.
  8. In the Photo section, you can perform the following:
    1. Select the Original icon to view and zoom the image.
    2. Select the Manage Images icon to move images up, down, and delete.
    3. Select the Close icon to close the image.

  9. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR toolbar, select Save.
    All the images saved to the patient's chart are renamed to the Image Description that is Finding Name-Region Description( x. x). You can also associate multiple images to a finding from the Findings Images and Images pane.
