Acknowledge NextGen® Enterprise EHR Alerts

When you open a patient's chart, any alert marked for acknowledgement appears for you to read and acknowledge, even if another user has already acknowledged it. You can acknowledge the alert immediately or at a later time. You can acknowledge multiple alerts at a time.

  1. On the Patient Alerts window, select Add/Edit.
    The Add/Edit Alerts window opens.
  2. Select the alert row(s), and then select Acknowledge.
    The Patient Alerts window closes. If you open the Patient Alerts window again, a green check mark appears next to the alert type.
