Snooze and Acknowledge NextGen® Enterprise EHR Alerts

You can set a snooze option to delay the display of selected alerts for a specified time period outside the current session. You must have operations rights to Snooze Patient Alerts. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise.

  1. On the Patient Alerts window, select the flagged alert line(s) to snooze.
  2. From the Click to Snooze Selected Alert(s) for list, select 24 Hours, 48 Hours, or 72 Hours, and then select Snooze & Acknowledge.
    The timer icon appears next to the alert type and snoozes the alert(s) for the set amount of time.
  3. To close the Patient Alerts window, select Close .
