Patient Demographics

You can review a selected patient's demographic information in the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine Patient Demographics template. You can also add or edit the default pharmacy, historical addresses, reminders, emergency contacts, and employment. To update other patient information, use the Modify Patient Information window. To add a patient, use the Add Patient Information window. For more information on person and patient search and to view patient information, refer to the Person and Patient Lookup in EHR and the Person and Patient Information sections. View Patient Chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR

You can select and view a patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You can view a patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Note: In System Administrator, if Access Rights for Chart/Recalls/Tasking is set to No, then you cannot access Chart on the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub toolbar. For more information about setting access permissions for viewing Chart in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From the Cohorts tab, run a report. From the My Lists tab, run a list. From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient's name. From Chart, select EHR Chart. The selected patient's chart appears on the Encounter History tab in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For more information on patient

View Medical Records and Demographic Templates

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. If needed, select a location and provider. Select a patient. The patient's encounters opens in the Encounter History tab. Do one of the following: Select an existing unlocked encounter. To create an encounter, select New. Note: If you are creating a patient or the patient does not have an encounter, NextGen® Enterprise EHR prompts you to create an encounter. To select a template, do one of the following: Select the Templates button on the Top toolbar. You can add the button to the toolbar if it is not visible. From the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Menu bar, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. To display templates of that type, select the Medical Records (default) or Demographics tab. Note: If applicable, the Group and Case Management tabs also appear to select Group Medical Records templates and Case Management templates. Open a Template

In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, to view the patients list, do one of the following: From the Cohorts tab, run a report. From the My Lists tab, run a list. From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the check box to the left of the patient's name. From Chart, select EHR Chart. A list appears displaying up to ten favorite templates. Do one of the following: To open a template with an existing unlocked encounter, select an encounter from the required template. To open a template with a new encounter, select the template name, and then select Yes to create a new encounter. Note: For NextGen® Enterprise EHR version 5.9 or earlier, you cannot select an encounter from NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. If an unlocked encounter exists for the current date, the template opens with that encounter. If there are no unlocked encounters for the current date associated with the template, you can creat

View Dashboard Template

You can view the dashboard template for the selected patient.
