Access Rights to Medical Records

To view, add, update, delete, or print medical information, the applicable access rights must be set in the System Administrator application for Modules Rights/Medical Records. Medical Records rights comprise:

  • Appointment Status Colors
  • Email
  • Graphing
  • Imaging
  • Medication Allergies
  • Medications
  • Orders (lab, radiology, and immunizations)
  • Patient Alerts
  • Patient Appointments
  • Patient Reports
  • Problem List
  • Procedures
  • Superbill

  • You cannot update or delete diagnoses or problems entered by another practice by executing the Patient Diagnosis trigger or Patient Problem trigger. If you try to do so, a message appears indicating that the encounter is locked.
