For documents and images, you can view image properties, rename images, adjust the viewer size, change their size, and rotate them.
Note: The size of the open document is based on the configurations selected in the User Preferences window.
Open NextGen® Document Management.
On the toolbar, select Search, and then search for the documents or images.
The Matching Records grid displays the list of patients who are associated with images that match your search results.
Double-click a patient record to open its associated images in the Search Results For: window, and then double-click the image you want to view.
The NextGen® Document Management viewer displays the image.
To view multiple documents and images at a time, on the NextGen® Document Management menu, select Window, and then select Tile Horizontally, Tile Vertically, or Cascade.
Note: You must select the Open images in new viewer option in User Preferences to view multiple documents and images at a time.
Optional: To switch to the next document or view the next page of the current document, select the necessary arrow icon.
You can switch between documents and pages by right-clicking and selecting from the Move and Move Page To options.
To correct a misaligned black and white image or document, right-click the image or document, select Deskew, and then correct the alignment.
To remove imperfections from the images or documents without blurring the edges, right-click the image or document, select Despeckle, and then correct the objects.
Annotate Documents and Images You can add notes, comments, and highlights to a document page and image that provide additional information, explanations, and labels for easier understanding.
Attach Notes to Documents and Pages You can attach quick notes to your documents and document pages in the NextGen® Document Management image viewer.
Rearrange Document Pages You can rearrange and set up thumbnails for your document pages. You can also print, hide, show, and delete pages from your document.
