Set Up the Quick File Configurations Master File

Before you begin

Set up Quick File Hot Keys. For more information on configuring the Quick File Hot Keys master file, go to Set Up Quick File Hot Keys Master File.
A Quick File configuration is a profile that controls which Quick File hot keys are available to the user when they file a batch of images. You can assemble and arrange the Quick File Hot Keys into any configuration that the Quick File Configurations master file allows you to create. For example, if there are six hot keys configured in the Quick File Hot Keys master file, you can create Quick File configurations that use different combinations of the hot keys for different filing situations. You could create a Quick File configuration that uses only two of the available hot keys. Another Quick File configuration that you create could use all six hot keys.
  1. Open File Maintenance.
  2. In Master Files, select System, and then select Quick File Configurations.
  3. In the Quick File Configurations List window, select the open menu button, and then select New.
The Quick File Configuration Information window opens.
  4. In Quick File Configuration Description, enter the configuration name, and then select Open Record.
The Hot Key Search window opens.
