Before you begin
Create a storage location, and then label it as
Hard Delete.
In NextGen® Document Management, you can provide an opportunity for an administrator or supervisor to review the deleted image and, if necessary, restore it.
- Open File Maintenance.
- In Master Files, select System, PM, or Document Management, and then select Practices.
The Practices List window opens.
- In the Practices list, double-click a practice.
The Modify Practice Information window opens.
- Select Preferences.
The Practice Preferences window opens.
- In Preferences List, select Imaging.
- In Hard Delete Path, select the hard delete storage location that you created, and then select OK to close the Practice Preferences window.
- Close the Modify Practice Information window, and then close the Practices List window.
After you set up the storage location, you must provide deletion permissions to users in the System Administrator.
