Field	Description
User-Specified Application	Select the ellipsis button and select the application you want the job to run. Note: The NextGen® Background Business Processor Engine takes the working directory from the path name of the application file you specify. For example, if the user-specified application is "C:\temp\jjj.bat", then the working directory will be "C:\temp" -- this will be as if the application were started in that directory
Command Line Arguments	Enter any command line arguments that you want to apply to the application. Command line arguments are parameters that control how the application executes.
Use Database for Exit Code	This field has a Yes or No setting to indicate whether the application you specify for the job to run writes an exit code to the NextGen database to indicate that it ran successfully. You should select No for this field unless the application you specify to run has been customized in coordination with NextGen Healthcare.
Job runtime alert setting (minutes)	Indicate the number of minutes you want the application to wait before sending out a job runtime alert email.
Job runtime alert email	Enter the email address of the person or persons to whom the application sends the job runtime alert.

Stored Procedure Job

You can create a job within NextGen® Background Business Processor that automatically executes a stored procedure during the times the package is scheduled to run. Each Stored Procedure job can run only one stored procedure. If you want a package to execute more than one stored procedure, you must create a job for each stored procedure. Configure the following fields: File Description Stored Procedure Name Enter the name of the stored procedure you want the job to run. Stored Procedure Parameters Select the ellipsis button and enter the parameter name and values in the Stored Procedures window. Select OK when finish entering parameters. Budget Statements Job

Configure the following fields: Field Description Statement Action Indicates whether you want to print or export the budget statements. Statement Sort By Indicates the statements to be sorted for the patient information. Indicates one of the following: Account ID Last Name Pay This Amount Zip Code Display Detail Information on Statement Indicate whether you want to display the detail patient information on the statement. Show Grid Lines Indicate whether you want the grid lines to display on the statement. Update Budget Dates? Indicate whether you want the budget dates to be updated. Statements Job

You can create a job to generate and export statements. Warning: If a Statements job fails to export the file, NextGen® Background Business Processor does not export the statement file, even if it looks acceptable. When a Statements export job fails, it is probable that NextGen® Background Business Processor has not updated the Next Statement Dates. This could result in duplicate statements in the next statement run. Configure the following fields: Field Description Statement Action Indicates whether you want to print or export the statement.
