You must meet the following requirements for
NextGen® Background Business Processor configuration:
- The .NET Framework v4.6.2 is installed on your computer
- The NextGen® Background Business Processor Engine Service is installed on your computer
- The NextGen® Background Business Processor security rights is configured in the System Administrator application
- The NextGen® Background Business Processor preferences is configured in NextGen® Background Business Processor.
- The enterprise and practice for which NextGen® Background Business Processor functions are selected
Note: Running NextGen® Enterprise PM processes in the background can be very demanding on the capabilities of your servers. Scheduling NextGen® Background Business Processor packages to run in NextGen® Enterprise PM helps. However, if you overload your servers with processes that run simultaneously, you may be dissatisfied with the results. NextGen Healthcare suggests that you experiment with scheduling NextGen® Background Business Processor packages on your servers. You may need to add additional servers to obtain the results that you want.
