Remove a Server from the Server List

There are two ways to remove a server from the Server List:

  • Uninstall the NextGen® Background Business Processor Service Engine from the server.
  • Delete the server in the NextGen® Background Business Processor Manager.

NextGen Healthcare recommends that you remove a server from the Server List by uninstalling the NextGen® Background Business Processor Service engine from the server. You should delete a server only when the server has been physically disconnected from the network before the NextGen® Background Business Processor Engine Service was uninstalled. If the server is still part of your network, but you want to remove the server from the NextGen® Background Business Processor Server List, uninstall the NextGen® Background Business Processor Engine Service on the server.

  1. Select the Server List tab in the NextGen® Background Business Processor Manager.
  2. Highlight the server in the list and right-click.
  3. Select Delete from the shortcut menu.
  4. Select OK on the warning message.
  5. Select Yes on the confirmation message.
