Verify the Presence of a Patient Group

Family and group psychotherapy visits can only be completed for a client who is already designated as a member of a group in the system. You must first verify the presence of a group and if no groups exist, you can create one.

  1. To verify the presence of a group, from the File menu select New and then select Group Encounter.
    The New Group Encounter window appears.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow to select an item from the list of existing groups.
