Verify the Presence of a Patient Group

You can complete family and group psychotherapy visits for a patient who is already designated as a member of a group in the system. You must first verify the presence of a group, and if there are no groups existing, you can create one.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then select File > New > Group Encounter.
    The New Group Encounter window appears.
  2. Select the drop-down arrow to select an item from the list of existing groups.
