Billing in a Behavioral Health Encounter

The Behavioral Health template set includes two primary areas that enable a provider to submit services codes to the Superbill. The Behavioral health billing section, available on multiple templates. The Finalize template Once the charges are calculated and submitted to the Superbill, the NextGen® Enterprise PM receives the charges for the services with a Start and End Time, a CPT® or HCPCS service code, a diagnosis code, as well as the date of service and the name of the provider of service. NextGen® Enterprise PM requires all of this data to be able to evaluate whether the total of the duration times may be 'rolled up'. Users can to view the submitted items and make any necessary updates. Individual Visit Workflows for Behavioral Health

Individual visit workflows for Behavioral Health enable the documentation of assessment and treatment plans for the individual client and are associated with the following Visit Types: Home Visit Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation with Medical Services Psychotherapy - Individual Psychotherapy - Individual with E&M Virtual Visit Telephone Virtual Visit Video You can record new issues for the client on the Individualized Action Plan (IAP) template. The Comp Assess tab can be used to access the Treatment Recommendations/Assessed Needs panel.
