Update the Assessment Details in Today's Assessments grid

If you want to update the assessment details in the Today's Assessments grid, Highlight an assessment in the Today's Assessments grid. Select or enter appropriate value in the Status, Side, Site, Impression, Differential Dx fields. Click Update. If the diagnosis is chronic, select the Mark diagnosis as chronic check box. If you want to add the selected assessment to the problem list, tracked problems, and/or favorite list, select the Clinical problems, My tracked problems, and/or My favorites check box respectively. Note: You can click the other tabs such as My Plan, A/P Details, and so on to document treatment plan, prescribe medications, order labs or X- rays, and request referrals. Automatic Diagnosis Functionality

The Auto Dx button in the Assessment/Plan panel uploads the procedure diagnosis with the diagnosis codes in the Today's Assessment grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. Assessment/Plan To enable the auto-diagnosis functionality, the values selected in the Documentation panel and/or the Findings panel must be associated with the procedure diagnosis data like the Common diagnosis framework reference system, and Diagnosis group in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. Add a Diagnosis Code for Diagnosis

Click OK on the alert message. Select the procedure billing details in the grid. The data appears in the corresponding fields above the grid. Do one of the following: Click the Dx Description 1 and select the diagnosis code from the list. Click Cancel on the list. The diagnosis search window opens. Search and select the required diagnosis. The selected diagnosis and the associated code appear in the Dx Description 1 and Code fields respectively. If applicable, repeat the above steps for Dx Description 2 through Dx Description 4 to add additional diagnosis. Note: The diagnosis selected in the Dx Description fields uploads in the Today's Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. Click Update. If you add additional data in the grid, the Verify Charges button appears in the Procedure Billing panel. Note: If the value is not associated with a procedure code, then the system uploads the default procedure billing code available for each procedure in the Procedure Documentatio

Upload the Billing Data in the Procedure Billing Data

In the Procedure Billing panel, click the Auto Billing button. The billing data uploads to the grid. The Auto Billing button becomes unavailable for selection. Note: To display a diagnosis code in the grid, you need to first click the Auto Dx button in the Assessment/Plan panel to upload the diagnosis details in the Today's Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. If you update or select the new values in the Documentation and/or Findings panel, the Auto Billing button becomes available for selection. Procedure Billing After the required billing data is available in the grid, click the Verify Charges button. The Charges verified check box appears. This check box is selected and cannot be cleared. Procedure Billing If a diagnosis code is not associated with the procedure code in the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, then an alert message appears to add a diagnosis code after you click the Verify Charges button. Using the Assessments Tab

The Assessments tab in the My Plan template set houses the Add or Update Assessment template. The grids on the Assessments tab can be filtered. For example, in the Billing Diagnosis History section, selecting the Show Chronic only check box displays only those diagnoses that are not acute. Selecting the option to Add Assessments on 1 click speeds up the documentation process by including the diagnosis description and code for Today's Assessment in the grid and Problems module without having to click Add/Update. The Medications or Immunizations links can be used at any time during the encounter to access the associated module. Add an Assessment

Click the Add - Remove button below the Today’s Diagnosis grid. The IORTS FV Add Assess template opens. IORTS FV Add Assess template Double-click the diagnosis in the patient’s Diagnosis grid to add it to the Today’s Diagnosis grid. Note: If a diagnosis is not in the Diagnosis grid, you can find and add it by using the Add button (or the Problem IT button if your practice is configured to use IMO). Click Close.
