Remove a Measure for Claims-Based Reporting

You can remove measures at any time. Removed measures are not deleted, but are disabled and do not appear on the Exceptions/Measures template. If you remove a measure, patient measures created when the measure was active retain the values. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. In the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel, select a measure in the grid. The data fields are filled with the data from the selected measure and Remove is enabled. Select Remove.The selected measure has been removed. Note: To view the removed measures, select the Removed option above the grid. You can restore the removed measures to the Active list. Update a Measure for Claims-Based Reporting

You can update the claims-based reporting measures anytime for reporting. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. In the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel, select a measure in the grid.The data fields have been filled with the measure details and Update is enabled. Modify the data fields. Note: If you clear a mandatory field, Update is disabled until you enter a data in the mandatory field. Select Update.The selected measure has been updated. Note: If you modify the fields, and then select Add, a new measure is created and the selected measure is not updated. Configure Measures for Claims-Based Reporting

On the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel, system administrators can add existing or newly-created measures to practices. On the Provider CQM Maintenance template, expand the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel. Claims Based Reporting Setup panel In the Practice(s) to View/Update section, do one of the following: To view or update measures for all practices, select the All option. To view or update measures for a practice, select the Selected option, and select a practice from the list. In the System field, do one of the following: To add an existing measure, select QID, click the Measure # field, and select a measure on the Dbp Provider Measure List window. Dbp Provider Measure List To add new claims-based measure, select Claims Based Measures. Select the Measure # field, and select <Add New> on the Dbp Provider Measure List window. Restore Non-CMS Provider Measures

You can restore a non-CMS Provider measure that was previously removed from the Providers Measure list. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. Expand the Provider Measures (not CMS) panel. Above the All Providers Measure grid, select the Removed option to view the removed measures.Removed measures are displayed in the grid. Select a measure to restore.Add is enabled. Configure Non-CMS Provider Measures

You can configure non-CMS Provider measures for CPT II codes. To enable a provider to document an exception and submit a CPT II code manually, you must assign a measure to a provider. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. Provider Measures (not CMS) Panel In the Provider Measures (not CMS) panel, select the Provider field. Select a provider in the list. Select the System field, and select Claims Based Measures. Note: The grid displays measures that have been set up in the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel on the Provider CQM Maintenance template that matches the System selection you have selected. Select the Measure # field, and select a measure in the list.The Measure short description field displays the description of the measure.
