Configure Measures for Claims-Based Reporting

On the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel, system administrators can add existing or newly-created measures to practices. On the Provider CQM Maintenance template, expand the Claims Based Reporting Setup panel. Claims Based Reporting Setup panel In the Practice(s) to View/Update section, do one of the following: To view or update measures for all practices, select the All option. To view or update measures for a practice, select the Selected option, and select a practice from the list. In the System field, do one of the following: To add an existing measure, select QID, click the Measure # field, and select a measure on the Dbp Provider Measure List window. Dbp Provider Measure List To add new claims-based measure, select Claims Based Measures. Select the Measure # field, and select <Add New> on the Dbp Provider Measure List window. Provider CMS Measures

This panel provides the ability to pick and indicate exceptions for the measures. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance system template. Click the Provider field and select a name from the list. The default option in the System field is CMS. Click the Measure number field and select a value from the list. The Measure short description field automatically fills the information based on the selected measure. In the Default exception class field, click and select an option from the list. Click the Default exception description and select an option from the list. Click Add/Update. The record appears in the grid and displays confirmation text. Provider CMS Measures To delete a measure, select the desired row on the grid and click Remove. Copy Provider Measures to Another Provider

You can copy measures configured for one provider to another provider. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance template. Navigate to the Copy Provider Measures panel. Copy Provider Measures The grid lists the total number of measures configured for each provider. When you copy the measure from one provider to the other, the measure count changes to match the measure count of the provider whose measures were copied. Click the Copy from field and select a source provider from the picklist. The measures defined for the selected provider will be copied to the target provider. The System field populates based on the selection. Click the Copy to field and select a target provider. The measures from the source provider will be copied to the target provider, overwriting any measures currently defined for the target provider. Select the Acknowledged check box to acknowledge that you have read the message that appears on the Copy Provider Measures grid to let you know that the copying process will era

Viewing Exceptions and Measures

You can manage exceptions and view measure details on the Exceptions/Measures template. You can open the Exceptions/Measures template from the navigation bar or from the CPT II Claims Based Reporting panel on the Finalize template. You can view the following types of exceptions and measures on the Exception/Measures template: Registry-based measures Procedure coded measures Custom data mapping Exception/Measures For information on how to address specific measures, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest guides for NextGen® HQM. Viewing Registry-Based Measures You can view the status and explanation of a selected registry-based measure on the top section of the Exceptions/Measures template. Provider CQM Maintenance

The Provider CQM Maintenance system template is used to set up the CMS and non-CMS measures at the provider level. You can also configure Quality Program measures for claims-based reporting. This maintenance template can be dynamically updated to relieve users of constant template editing and hard-coding of the measures. Open the Provider CQM Maintenance System Template You can access the template in multiple ways to capture the provider CQM maintenance details.
