The Procedures panel on the PT Finalize template automatically displays treating procedures that were previously documented on the Treatment Panel of the Objective template as having been performed during the encounter. Treating procedures can be reviewed and updated.
Options include:
- The ability to add up to three modifiers, the number of billing units, and the diagnosis code(s) associated with each of the treatment procedure(s)
- The ability to suppress billing for individual treatment procedure items
Note: Billing units related to Medicare billing are automatically calculated based on the Medicare 8-minute rule when you select the Apply Medicare check box in the Payer panel.
The
Procedures panel displays the CPT code and total minutes spent performing the treatment. The time of like CPT codes is combined and appears as a single row with
Total minutes for that CPT code.
RVU and
Units for each treatment are automatically calculated by the system.
