Order an Office Procedure
Click the Medications or Immunizations links at any time during the encounter to access the associated module.
- On the Office Procedures tab, select or add a diagnosis.
- Do one of the following:
- In the Point of care tests section, select an option.
- Click the down arrow
next to a category to open the resulting list and make a selection.
- To indicate that an injection, IV fluid, or medication was required, select the associated option.
- Click Place Order.
Note: If ordering medications from the My Plan template, the drug interaction and allergy check is performed upon placing the order, enabling you to acknowledge each. However, first run the Medications_NDCID_Notmapped report to identify National Drug Codes (NDC) for medications not mapped and map them to the NDC Library. - Do one of the following:
- Enter the task details and click OK.
- To close the window without sending a task, click Cancel.
- Click Save & Close.
