Links and Buttons on the Office Procedures Tab

The following links, fields, and check boxes are available on the Office Procedures tab: Link/Check box/Field Description Points of care tests options To indicate that an injection, IV fluid, or medication was required, select the associated option. Immunization Alert To enter additional comments about an immunization, click and type In the Immunization Alert field. Automatically Complete Office Procedure or Instruction Orders

Clicking Place Order on My Custom Plan with the Set Order Status to Complete option turned on, automatically completes the order. On the My Custom Plan template, My Plan panel, highlight a diagnosis description row in the top grid. In the Order Options section, select the Office Procedures or Instructions plan type as appropriate and select a value from the grid. Select Set Order Status to Complete. My Plan Click Add to populate the entered values in the Pending Orders grid. Click Place Order to move the order(s) to the Manage Orders panel. Note: If ordering medications from the My Custom Plan template, the drug interaction and allergy check is performed upon placing the order, enabling you to acknowledge each. However, first run the Medications_NDCID_Notmapped report to identify National Drug Codes (NDC) for medications not mapped and map them to the NDC Library. You can place an order on the Office Procedures template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. In the Assessment/Plan panel, select Office Procedures in the navigation bar. The Office Procedures template opens. If required, select an assessment. The Office Procedures template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates in the group as the working assessment. The application defaults to the current working assessment. You can select another assessment, which becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates in the group. The selected assessment appears in the Selected Dx field. Select an appropriate procedure and enter the required details. Office Procedures Select Place Order. Document Point-of-Care Test

You can document a point-of-care tests of a patient. Before you begin If you order medications from the Office Services template, first run the Medications_NDCID_Notmapped Crystal Report to identify National Drug Codes (NDC) for medications that are not mapped. You can then map the medications to the NDC Library. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. In the Orders panel, select the Standing Orders link. The Office Services template opens. Office Services To select an order set, select the Display category field, and then select an option from the list. In the Orders grid, select an order. If you need to add assessment details, then add an assessment and an assessment code for the order. The Order and Procedure code fields get filled in the Diagnosis section. In the Diagnosis section, select the Diagnosis field, and select a diagnosis for the order. The Diagnosis and Dx Code fields get filled in the Diagnosis section. Add Orders on the Order Management Template

You can add orders from the Order Management template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Home Page template, select the Order Management link. The Order Management template opens. Order Management If orders are not available in the grid, select Add. The My Plan template opens. Note: If you select the Launch My Custom Plan (ord_my_custom_plan) check box on the Practice Configuration practice template, the My Custom Plan template opens.
