Link/Check box/Field	Description
Points of care tests options	To indicate that an injection, IV fluid, or medication was required, select the associated option.
Immunization Alert	To enter additional comments about an immunization, click and type In the Immunization Alert field.
Seq, Strength, Dose, Units, Route, Side, Site, Exp date, Lot number, Manufacturer	To enter other details, click the Seq, Strength, Dose, Units, Route, Side, Site, Exp date, Lot number, and/or Manufacturer fields.
Performed option	To indicate that the procedure is complete, select the Performed option.
Schedule field	To enter a suggested timeframe for the procedure, click the Schedule field.
Lab/Radiology Order Processing link	To submit a lab or radiology order, click the Lab/Radiology Order Processing link.
Immunizations link	To open the Immunizations module, click the Immunizations link. For details on the Immunizations module, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Immunizations Module User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR.

	To set up a new quick tasking action, click the cog to open the Quick Task Setup template.
Quick Task	To select the priority of and/or send the task to a pre-configured recipient for any further action, click Quick Task. Order an Office Procedure

Click the Medications or Immunizations links at any time during the encounter to access the associated module. On the Office Procedures tab, select or add a diagnosis. Do one of the following: In the Point of care tests section, select an option. Click the down arrow next to a category to open the resulting list and make a selection. To indicate that an injection, IV fluid, or medication was required, select the associated option. Click Place Order. Note: If ordering medications from the My Plan template, the drug interaction and allergy check is performed upon placing the order, enabling you to acknowledge each. However, first run the Medications_NDCID_Notmapped report to identify National Drug Codes (NDC) for medications not mapped and map them to the NDC Library. Create Immunization Order from the Vaccine Category Favorites

You can use create an immunization record from the Vaccine Category favorites. For more information on setting up vaccine category favorites, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake - Cardiology template. Click the Cardiac Orders panel. Click Immunizations. The Immunizations template opens. Click New. On Create New Immunization Order, click the Imm tab. Select the appropriate category from the Favorites. Vaccines grouped in the category appear within the selected pane. Create New Immunization Order - Category Select an immunization from the list. Selected vaccines appear in the lower pane of Create New Immunization Order template. Note: If the Review Allergies option is set to Yes, the Review Allergies window opens and allergies need to be reviewed before continuing. Select COUNSELED, if necessary, to document counseling for use of Pediatric administration codes.

Orders Module

You can use the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders module to create and manage your lab and radiology orders (also known as diagnostic imaging orders). You can perform the following tasks from the Orders module: Place and send lab and radiology orders. Complete unfinished lab or radiology orders for a patient that originate from a bulk order generated through NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. Choosing advanced imaging tests by their appropriate use criteria (AUC) scores when you place a radiology order. Set up order filters for your practice or private use. Set up schedules for future and recurring orders. Add, view, and track order comments from different areas of the Orders module. View Patient's Immunization Status

Before you begin You must ensure that you have the View access right enabled in MODULES > Medical Records > Orders in System Administrator. You can view the patient's overdue vaccines, that is, vaccine series that are past due, due now, and pending.
