Open the Quick Task Setup

You can create a task using Quick Tasks.

You can configure the recipients for your orders or tasks using the Practice Configuration practice template. Once configured, the task is automatically sent to the configured recipient at run time.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select File > System \ Practice Template.
    The Select Template window opens.
  3. Select the Practice tab.
  4. Under Show, select All.
    A list of practice templates appears.
  5. Select Practice Configuration, and select OK.
    The Practice Configuration template opens.
  6. To indicate that the Category field on the Quick Task Setup template, in the Quick task section, select the Require a Category to be entered when Quick Task settings are added or updated check box.

  7. Select the Launch Quick Task link.
    The Quick Task Setup template opens.
