Set Up Task Recipients

You can set up task recipients.

  1. Open the Quick Task Setup template.
  2. Select User Name and select a username from the list.
  3. Select Source template and select a template from the list.
  4. Select the location.
    • If you select Specific, the Location field is enabled and displays the current practice location. You can also choose another practice location from the list.
    • If you select All, the Location field remains disabled.
  5. Select the Task to field and select Individual or Group:
  6. To change the task priority from the default value of Normal, select Priority and select the priority.
  7. To modify or override the priority level, select the Allow to override check box.
    If you select Allow to override check box, the application opens the Quick Task Priority template when you select Quick Task from the Source Template.
  8. To open the recipient list that displays Show All and choices of individuals or work groups for the selected location, based on the selected Task To value, select the Recipient field.
  9. Select the task recipient from the list.
  10. To add the subject of the quick task, select Subject.
    The added subject line appears in the recipient's inbox.
  11. To ensure that the task appears on the Task Details template, enter a brief note about the task in the Description field.
  12. Select from the Category and select the applicable category from the list.
    If you select the Require a Category to be entered when Quick Task setting are added or updated check box on the Practice Configuration practice template, then you must select the category to configure and save the quick task settings. The Clear button clears data from all fields except the User Name, Source template, and Priority fields.
  13. Select Add.
    The data record appears in the grid.
  14. Select Save & Close.
