Send a Quick Task

You can send a quick task.

The task recipient is configured on the Practice Configuration template. If you do not configure the task recipient in the practice template, you can open the Quick Task Setup template using the Quick Task button the first time, where you can configure the functionality. On the Quick Task Setup template, the Source template field defaults to the template it opens from and the configuration applies to the current user logged on to the system. To open the Quick Task Setup template, and set up a new quick tasking action, use the cog icon to the right of the Quick Task button.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open the Intake template.
  3. In the Orders panel, select the Standing Orders link.
    The Office Services template opens.
  4. To send a referral to other staff members for any further action, select Quick Task.
    The Quick Task Priority or Quick Task Setup template opens.
  5. On the Quick Task Priority template, select the Task priority field, and select the value.
  6. Select Save & Send.
    A confirmation text appears indicating that the information is sent to the selected group or individual.
