Add Order Sets on Row Select

On the My Custom Plan template, use the Diagnosis Selection options to enter an ordering assessment. If not already mapped, click Mapping Required to select a Diagnosis Group. To enter a new Order Set: Select the On Row Select: Add to Pending Orders check box. Choose orders from the Order Options selections. In the Create Order Set field, enter a new name for the set. To set the order set as a default for the selected diagnosis group, select Set As Default For Dx Group. Click Save. Click Yes in the resulting Warning window and then click OK. Note: The system does not duplicate names for an Order Set associated with a single provider. Order sets can also be created and managed in the My Custom Plan Setup template. The selected values appear in the grid for Pending Orders. Answer any Ask at Order Entry (AOE) questions that appear. Click Place Order. Significance of Indicator Color

The color of the circle indicators on the Diagnosis Selection, Ordering Assessment, Diagnosis Group, and Order Set fields shows the state of the element on the My Custom Plan template. The colors of the indicators identify the status of the selections: Diagnosis Selection- black Ordering Assessment: No row selected - red indicator with None selected text Diagnosis is highlighted in the grid - green indicator with the diagnosis code and description text Diagnosis Group: Diagnosis is associated to a group name - the name displays and the indicator is green No associate group associated to a diagnosis - Mapping required red link displays and the color of the indicator is yellow My Plan Order Set: Diagnosis Group is associated to an Order Set - green No Diagnosis Group is available - the label displays as Dx Group required and the indicator is yellow No order sets available - a yellow indicator with a red alert label: No Available Order SetsMy Plan Diagnosis is associated to more than one

Enter and View Diagnoses on My Custom Plan

Orders can only be created after an assessment is designated for the encounter. On the My Custom Plan template, My Plan panel, do one of the following actions: Next to Diagnosis Selection, select the desired search option (Today's Assessments or Clinical Problems) to highlight the assessment in the grid. Click the Dx Search link to open the diagnosis search window. Search for and highlight the correct diagnosis. Click Select to return to My Custom Plan. Click Add/Edit Assessment or Add/Edit Problems below the grid (depending on the search option selected) to add as many assessments and/or clinical problems as is required. Click Save & Close to return to My Custom Plan. Note: There are five diagnoses or four clinical problems immediately visible in the grid with the option to scroll down to view all of the entered data. Manage Diagnosis Groups

You can update, deactivate, or delete a diagnosis group and copy an existing diagnosis group to create another group. On the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template, expand the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel. Note: By default, all active diagnosis groups are displayed in the grid of the Add Diagnosis Group section. You can filter the values in the grid by selecting the View Dx groups created/modified today option or entering the desired value in the Show field. Select the desired diagnosis group from the grid of the Add Diagnosis Group section. The results are as follows: The details of the selected diagnosis group are filled in their corresponding fields of the Add Diagnosis Group section. If you select an inactive diagnosis group, the Delete button appears in the Add Diagnosis Group section. Assign Diagnosis Codes to a Diagnosis Group

On the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config practice template, expand the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel. From the Add Diagnosis Group grid, select the desired record. Note: To find a newly created group, select the View Dx groups created/modified today option above the grid. The name of selected diagnosis group appears above the Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid. In the Assign Diagnosis Codes to Group section: In the Description field, enter the few characters of desired diagnosis description. For Type, select a code type: ICD-9 or ICD-10. Click Search. The diagnosis codes matching with selected search criteria appear in the Search Results grid. Select the desired diagnosis code from the search results and click Right arrow icon. The assigned diagnosis code appears in the Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid. To move all the codes from Search Results grid to Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid, click Move all icon.
