Add Order Sets on Row Select

  1. On the My Custom Plan template, use the Diagnosis Selection options to enter an ordering assessment.
  2. If not already mapped, click Mapping Required to select a Diagnosis Group.
  3. To enter a new Order Set:
    • Select the On Row Select: Add to Pending Orders check box.
    • Choose orders from the Order Options selections.
    • In the Create Order Set field, enter a new name for the set.
    • To set the order set as a default for the selected diagnosis group, select Set As Default For Dx Group.
    • Click Save.
    • Click Yes in the resulting Warning window and then click OK.
    The selected values appear in the grid for Pending Orders.
  4. Answer any Ask at Order Entry (AOE) questions that appear.
  5. Click Place Order.
    The processed orders appear in the Orders grid on the Manage Orders panel.
