Hide or Show the Staff to Look up Diagnosis Link

As different practices have distinct policies surrounding the documentation of a diagnosis, a setting to hide or show the link for the Staff to Look up Diagnosis can be applied at the practice level. The option enables the provider to instruct support staff regarding diagnosis selection using the tasking feature. The researched diagnosis still needs to be entered into Today’s Assessment by the provider. It is the interruption in workflow that prompts some practices to hide the Staff to Look up Diagnosis functionality.
  1. On the Practice Configuration practice template, in the Assessment section, select Staff to Look up Diagnosis.
  2. Click Save and Close at the top right of the practice template.
    With the option turned on, the Staff to look up diagnosis code functionality appears on the Assessments tab.
