Save a Memorized Care Guideline Report

You can save a care guidelines report for the patient's record. After you have set up the desired columns, filters, data and options, you can save the report you have built and reuse it later. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > Reports > Generate Report > By Enterprise. The NextGen Report Filter: Patient template opens. Nextgen Report Filter Update all the desired parameters, columns, filters, data, and options on the NextGen Report Filter: Patient template to set up the memorized report. Select Save. The Memorize Report window opens. Memorize Report In Save As, enter the name of the report. Select Generic or Report as the Report Type. Note: You can only see those report types that have been set up in the File Maintenance. You can define the additional fields: Select who can run the report you have created. Run a Memorized Care Guideline Report

You can run a saved care guidelines report for the patient's record. You can generate and work with any reports that have been previously created and memorized (saved). CAUTION: The memorized report may take significant time and system resources to run. It is advisable to run this report after business hours. This report can only be run on care guidelines order items (formerly protocols), not on Recommended Care items. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > Reports > Report List. The Memorized Reports window opens. Select the Report Type. Select a report you want to generate and double-click it. Memorized Reports The Report Filter window opens. CAUTION: If the Limit EHR reporting to only preferred locations check box has been selected in System Administrator and your preferred locations settings are different from the memorized report's location settings, a warning message appears. Care Guidelines Report

You can generate a care guidelines report for the patient's record. You can use the ngsprep_care_guidelines stored procedure to generate enterprise-level reports that display all patient records (in alphabetical order) that are due for the specified care guideline or test. For example Pap, lipid panel. The ngsprep_care_guidelines store procedure, when runs, temporarily updates care guidelines data prior to run the report. It ensures that the generated report shows records with updated care guideline data to view all patients that are due for the selected guideline. However, the patient's chart is not updated. CAUTION: Care guidelines in the patient’s chart only gets updated when you create an encounter and run the care guidelines store procedure, for example on the Intake template. To create a specific guideline report, you need to filter the data by accessing the options from the NextGen Report Filter: Patient template. You can configure a memorized report. Select Stored Procedure Data (Enterprise-level NextGen® Enterprise EHR Reports Only)

The Stored Procedure Data function is an advanced reporting feature. To use this function, you must have advanced knowledge of the NextGen database structure and SQL knowledge. If you have questions about using this function, contact your System Administrator. Select SP from the Report Filter Settings List. Note: Stored Procedures Reports are available for Enterprise-Level Reports ONLY. Report Filter Select whether you wish to filter on a Stored Procedure or a View. Generate Reports of All Patients Due for Selected Clinical Guidelines

This report provides a list of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for (selected) clinical guidelines. This report needs to be run at the Enterprise level. To create this report, you would filter the data by accessing the following modules or options from the Report Filter Settings List: Select Stored Procedure check box and then select “ngsprep_care_guidelines”. Filter the report data. Filter the patient demographics (for example, gender, race), using the Patient option. Filter the Care Guideline fields using the individual columns. Generate Providers Performance Report

In this example, you need to generate a list of patients who have had certain procedures performed during a specific period of time. The patients should be grouped by the provider who performed the procedure. Open the Report Filter. Select Procedure from the Settings List. The Procedure Search window opens.
