Save a Memorized Care Guideline Report

You can save a care guidelines report for the patient's record. After you have set up the desired columns, filters, data and options, you can save the report you have built and reuse it later. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > Reports > Generate Report > By Enterprise. The NextGen Report Filter: Patient template opens. Nextgen Report Filter Update all the desired parameters, columns, filters, data, and options on the NextGen Report Filter: Patient template to set up the memorized report. Select Save. The Memorize Report window opens. Memorize Report In Save As, enter the name of the report. Select Generic or Report as the Report Type. Note: You can only see those report types that have been set up in the File Maintenance. You can define the additional fields: Select who can run the report you have created. Generating a Care Guideline Report

You can generate a care guidelines report for the patient's record. CAUTION: The memorized report may take significant time and system resources to run. It is advisable to run this report after business hours. This report can only be run on care guideline order items (formerly protocols), not on recommended care items. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > Reports > Generate Report > By Enterprise. The NextGen Report Filter: Patient template opens. Select SP from the Settings List. Nextgen Report Filter Select the Stored Procedure check box and select ngsprep_care_guidelines from the list. The Parameters and Columns tabs are opened with report generation options. Nextgen Report Filter In the Parameters tab, update the following fields: Select EnterpriseID for the Enterprise_ID column. Select PracticeID for the Practice_ID column. Enter the exact guideline name for which you want to run the report in the Guideline_Name column, for example PAP. This field is not case sensitive. Not

Care Guidelines Report

You can generate a care guidelines report for the patient's record. You can use the ngsprep_care_guidelines stored procedure to generate enterprise-level reports that display all patient records (in alphabetical order) that are due for the specified care guideline or test. For example Pap, lipid panel. The ngsprep_care_guidelines store procedure, when runs, temporarily updates care guidelines data prior to run the report. It ensures that the generated report shows records with updated care guideline data to view all patients that are due for the selected guideline. However, the patient's chart is not updated. CAUTION: Care guidelines in the patient’s chart only gets updated when you create an encounter and run the care guidelines store procedure, for example on the Intake template. To create a specific guideline report, you need to filter the data by accessing the options from the NextGen Report Filter: Patient template. You can configure a memorized report. Work with a Saved or Memorized Report

You can generate and work with any reports that have been previously created and memorized (saved). From the Main menu, select File > Reports > Report List. The Memorized Reports window opens. Memorized Reports Select the Report Type. Select a report you wish to generate and double-click it. The Report Filter window opens. CAUTION: If the Limit EHR reporting to only preferred locations check box has been selected in System Administrator and your preferred locations settings are different from the memorized report's location settings, a warning message displays. If you wish to continue, select Yes. If you do not wish to generate the report, select No. If no additions or changes are required, select OK to generate the report. Note: You do not need to re-save the report. To add or change any previously selected filters: Update the filter information or make any other changes. To save the updated information, select Save. You can also change any of the other parameters, such as Report Name

Create Memorized Reports

Depending on whether you want to create a NextGen® Enterprise or NextGen® Enterprise PM report, set up the report by defining the columns and filters to produce the desired format and results. Note: If you want to open the NextGen® Enterprise PM reports in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, then you must ensure to create only the patient level NextGen® Enterprise PM memorized reports. Ensure the report meets your requirements, select Save on the Report Filter. If you want to verify the report prior to saving, run the report. Review the report, and then select Memorize Report . The Memorize Report window opens. Note: Save results for notification does not appear when memorizing NextGen® Enterprise PM reports. In Save As, enter the name of your report. If you are changing an existing memorized report, the original information automatically appears. In Report Type, select a report type.
