Access All Memorized Reports	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can access any memorized report secured to another user in NextGen® Enterprise PM. When set to Yes, it overrides the Memorized Report Modification, Memorized Report Run, and Memorized Report Save rights. Note: Access to memorized reports in NextGen® Enterprise is controlled by the EHR Reporting Tools rights under Operations.
Accounts Receivable	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can create and print A/R reports.
Aged Trial Balance	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can create and print ATB reports.

Memorized Report Modification	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can modify memorized reports.
Memorized Report Run	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can access the Reports icon and run and print memorized reports. If preferred location limits have been set for a user, the Locations tab in the report filter displays all possible locations but only the data from the user’s preferred locations appears in the run report. Note: If you enable Memorized Report Run, you must also enable the type of report Accounts Receivable, Aged Trial Balance, Daily, General, Monthly, Scheduling, System Evaluation, and Transaction.
Memorized Report Save	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can save memorized reports.
Memorized System Level	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can memorize reports that are automatically generated after a process is run (for example, Claim Production Status, Batch Listing, Bad Debt).
Memorized User Level	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can memorize user-generated reports.
Monthly	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can create and print monthly reports.
My List Creation	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can access the My List Creation reports. Note: The My List Creation permission is set to Yes by default.
Report Server Settings	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can do the following: In Reports Practice Preferences, you can select the report types that can be run. When this security right is set to No, the Report Server list is disabled in Reports Practice Preferences. You can set the Generate from Report Serverpreference in Reports Practice Preferences so that the practice uses the report server as the data source for large production reports.
Scheduling	NextGen® Enterprise PM	You can create and print Scheduling reports.
Significant Events	NextGen® Enterprise PM	Displays the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) data on specific reports including the Significant Events report.
Snapshots	NextGen® Enterprise PM, NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and NextGen® Enterprise	You can take snapshots of reports using an icon on the report toolbar.

Create Memorized Reports

Depending on whether you want to create a NextGen® Enterprise or NextGen® Enterprise PM report, set up the report by defining the columns and filters to produce the desired format and results. Note: If you want to open the NextGen® Enterprise PM reports in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, then you must ensure to create only the patient level NextGen® Enterprise PM memorized reports. Ensure the report meets your requirements, select Save on the Report Filter. If you want to verify the report prior to saving, run the report. Review the report, and then select Memorize Report . The Memorize Report window opens. Note: Save results for notification does not appear when memorizing NextGen® Enterprise PM reports. In Save As, enter the name of your report. If you are changing an existing memorized report, the original information automatically appears. In Report Type, select a report type. Work with a Saved or Memorized Report

You can generate and work with any reports that have been previously created and memorized (saved). From the Main menu, select File > Reports > Report List. The Memorized Reports window opens. Memorized Reports Select the Report Type. Select a report you wish to generate and double-click it. The Report Filter window opens. CAUTION: If the Limit EHR reporting to only preferred locations check box has been selected in System Administrator and your preferred locations settings are different from the memorized report's location settings, a warning message displays. If you wish to continue, select Yes. If you do not wish to generate the report, select No. If no additions or changes are required, select OK to generate the report. Note: You do not need to re-save the report. To add or change any previously selected filters: Update the filter information or make any other changes. To save the updated information, select Save. You can also change any of the other parameters, such as Report Name

Restricting Access to Memorized Reports

Access to memorized reports is controlled by the user group security settings in System Administrator. The Operation rights that apply to memorized reports are: Access All Memorized Reports- Enables users to view, run, and modify any memorized report secured to another user. When set to Yes, it overrides the Memorized Report Modification, Memorized Report Run, and Memorized Report Save rights. Memorized Report Modification- Enables users to define the users and security groups that can modify memorized reports. Memorized Report Run- Enables users to define the users and security groups that can run and print memorized reports. Enables users to access the Reports icon for "memorized" reports. Run a Memorized Care Guideline Report

You can run a saved care guidelines report for the patient's record. You can generate and work with any reports that have been previously created and memorized (saved). CAUTION: The memorized report may take significant time and system resources to run. It is advisable to run this report after business hours. This report can only be run on care guidelines order items (formerly protocols), not on Recommended Care items. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > Reports > Report List. Memorized Reports Job

The Memorized Reports job type runs the memorized reports for either NextGen® Enterprise EHR or NextGen® Enterprise PM. Configure the following fields: Field Description Memorized Report Name Indicates the Report Type and the Description as specified in the Memorized Reports window. Your selection indicates the memorized report that the job runs. The job runs the report for the practices set up in the report itself. Note: When you run the Memorized Report job for an old enhanced report that is memorized, the job fails. A message appears stating that this memorized report is not compatible with the new enhanced report version. You must memorize the base report in the new enhanced report version and re-run the job. NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen Enterprise Memorized Reports

After you set up a report with the filters that best fit your practice, you can save the memorized report settings so that they are available for use again. You do not have to run the report to memorize it. Memorizing a report saves the report parameters, not the actual data. Each time you run the memorized report, the report format remains the same but it always contains the current information from the database. NextGen® Enterprise PM memorizes date ranges in different ways, depending on the following criteria: If you use criteria like current month or month to date, then NextGen® Enterprise PM uses your server's current date to set the date range. This is referred to as a smart date. If you enter a custom date, then NextGen® Enterprise PM remembers that date and uses it to pull the report data.
