Add Cardiac Orders on the SOAP Template

You can add Cardiac orders on the SOAP template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. Click the Cardiac Orders panel. Cardiac Orders Panel Click the appropriate button for order type. For example, to order lab tests, click Labs. Document the information. Click Add. Select the task recipients and click Add. Generate Note Associated with the Encounter

Generate a Consent Note

You can generate a consent note. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. In the Assessment / Plan panel, select Consent. The Consent - Procedures template opens. Enter values in the fields such as Provider name, Consent by, Type of procedure, and Procedure date. Enter comments as required in the Comments field. To generate the consent note with the details documented in the Consent - Procedures template, select the Consent button in the Assessment / Plan panel. Copy Forward SOAP Note Data from Previous Encounters

You can copy previous Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) notes, and then send the notes to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Today's Visit. Note: You must add or select an unlocked encounter. Select Dictate.The SOAP Note view opens. Select a SOAP section to enter clinical documentation. Select Copy Forward.The previously entered data for that SOAP section appears with the encounter dates. Recorded soap notes of previous encounters To copy a note to the today's visit SOAP note text box, select the note. Note: You can copy notes from multiple encounters. Current encounter soap note text box Optional: Edit the copied notes in the SOAP note text box using the mobile keyboard, and then select Done on the keyboard. Generate Intake Note

You can generate the intake note for a patient using Generate Intake Note on the Intake template. Before you begin You must complete all the intake activities before generating the intake note. You can generate the intake note as a written summary of the encounter from the intake staff or medical assistant. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Select Generate Intake Note. The generated intake note opens. Add Notes to Encounters

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup . The Patient Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and then select Find. Patient records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section. Select the patient, and then select Open. The Patient Chart window opens. Select Encounters and then select the Notes tab under it. The Encounters and Encounter Notes sections appear. Under the Encounters section, select an encounter. Select open record and then select New. The Patient Note window opens. Patient Notes Window Enter details in Subject and Note Entry section, and then select OK. Note: You can select the Seal Note check box to seal and keep a note confidential.
