Fields on Test Dates Data Items

Field	Description
Template Name	Enter the name of the template on which the test value is displayed when it is retrieved from the database.
Test Name	Enter the name of the test that is retrieved from the database.
Test Type	Enter the type of the test. The valid values are: Order: Indicates that the test values are retrieved from the Order_table. Lab: Indicates that the test values are retrieved from the Order (Lab) module. Proc: Indicates that the test values are retrieved from the Procedure module. The Test Type field in the data set indicates the name of the table from where the data can be retrieved by the stored procedure.
Test Date Table	Enter the name of the table where the Test Date is stored. This date is displayed on any template when retrieved from the database.
Test Date Field	Enter the name of the field where the Test Date is stored on the template.
Test Result Table	Enter the name of the table where the Test Result value is stored. The Test Result value is displayed on the template when retrieved from the database.
Rest Result Field	Enter the name of the field where the Rest Result value is stored. The Rest Result value is displayed on the template when retrieved from the database. This field is optional.
Test Interpretation Table	Enter the name of the table where the Test Interpretation value is stored. The Test Interpretation value is displayed on the template once retrieved from the database. This field is optional.
Test Interpretation Field	Enter the name of the field where the interpretation value is stored on the template. This field is optional.

Add Test Dates Data Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select Test Dates. The existing data set items associated with the Test Dates data set appear in the grid. Test Dates data set Click Add. The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup If applicable, click Diagnosis description to search and select a diagnosis. The associated diagnosis code automatically populates. If applicable, click Provider and select a provider from Dbp Rendering Provider. Enter the details in the respective fields. Click Save, and then click Close. The newly configured data set item displays in the Data Sets Setup template. Note: To add another item, click Clear For Add in the Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template and repeat steps 1 and 2. Test Dates Data Set

The Test Dates data set enables you to configure the name of the table from which the last completed date of the orders, labs, and procedures are retrieved and displayed in the practice templates. In addition, the Test Dates data set stores the list of associated run-time practice templates. The ngkbm_getlastdate stored procedure uses this list to set the required test and the fields to be used for values. The template name must match the @template_name input parameter of the ngkbm_getlastdate stored procedure. The Test Dates data set works along with the ngkbm_getlastdate stored procedure that captures the values entered in the test date, test result, or test interpretation fields and sends it to the required fields. Note: The Test Dates data set is not used for protocols. It is used only for placing values in the discrete fields in the associated templates. Setting Up the Data Sets Fields

The Data Sets Setup template contains many useful fields. You can use the Data Sets Setup template to retrieve values from the data tables and fields that you select. The Health Promotion Plan template retrieves the most recent value in that field and displays it in the results field with a customized label. You can also enter high and low values, and any value out of range appears in red text. You can choose what units you want to display. Note: You need to enter values in two sets of fields on the template. The following fields appear on the Data Sets Setup template. Add Test Code Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select Test Codes. The existing data set items associated with the Test Codes data set appear in the grid. Test Codes data set Click Add. The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup Click Test and select a name that the code or description will be mapped to from the picklist. The picklist displays the list of all test names currently available in the system. The name is used by the practice to identify an order, patient procedure, or lab. Click OK. Note: To enter a test name that is not listed, select the blank line that displays in the picklist and click OK. Type the name in the Test field. Enter one of the following: Codes - Enter the code to be mapped to. The entered code is used by the reference lab or outside study/procedure location to identify the test at their location for ordering or billing purposes. Review Test Results

You can open the order and result detail in the Orders Summary tab. Open the Orders module. The Results tab is in view by default. If the default initial tab view has been changed, select the Results tab to open it. The results appear for the default All filter. To view results for a private or practice filter, select the filter in the Results tab Filters bar. The results appear for the selected filter. To view additional information for a result, select the result value in the Collection Date & Time column. The bottom of the Results tab shows the result value, status, applicable test units, any abnormal flag, the normal range, and any comments. To copy the text, select Select All and Copy.
