Configure Reason for Visits

Use the Reason for Visit section in the Framework Content system template to configure the Reason for Visit items that appear in the Reason for Visit panel on the Intake and SOAP templates that are specific to your practice and specialty.

  1. In the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.
    The Select Template window appears.
  2. On the System tab, under Show, select All.
  3. Click Framework Content to open the Framework Content system template. Associate the HPI template to a specialty
  4. Click the Specialty field and select an item from the list.
    This associates the HPI template to that specialty.

  5. If applicable, click the Practice and/or Provider fields to select an item from the respective list to map the HPI template to a particular practice or provider.
  6. In the Framework Content system template, select the all option from the Filter to display all of the HPIs found under the Additional/Manage link on the Intake template.

  7. To filter the grid by gender, click the drop-down arrow in the Filter by gender field and select a value from the Gender list.

  8. Click the drop-down arrow in the first field above the grid and select an item from the Udp Custom Link Filter list.

  9. The selected item appears in the Reason for Visit section.
  10. If relevant, click the drop-down arrow on the next field to assign a gender value.
  11. Click Add.
    The new item appears in the Reason for Visit grid.
