Configuration of Medical and Family History

The configured templates appear when you add a medical history or family history on the Medical/Surgical/Interim panel and Family panel. The configurations apply to Specialty, Practice, and Provider. Medical / Family History The following templates are examples of which you can customise using the Medical / Family History panel. Manage Summary Selections on the Summary List

You can add, remove, and reorder the summary selections on the Summary list. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Click the Medical Chart Summary panel. To select an item in the list, click the list field above the Summary Item column, and select a summary item. The selected summary item appears in the field. To add the summary item to the grid, click Add. To rearrange the items in the Summary Listing grid in alphabetical order, select Sort Alphabetically. Review the Patient's Chart Summary

You can gain a complete picture of the patient's clinical history on the Chart Summary template. Use the links in the left pane to filter the patient's information. Each practice can configure the links in the left pane on the Framework Content system template in the Medical Chart Summary section. Summary Template

The Summary template displays for the No Show, Post-Operative Visit, and Pre-Operative Visit visit types. You can view the Medical Chart Summary panel from the Summary template. Medical Chart Summary Review by Provider

The Medical Chart Summary panel displays the details documented by the Intake staff and provider in an encounter. The details from the previous encounters also appear in this panel. The data grid includes a list of categories in the left pane. You can select and view the documented data. Some of the categories include filters at the top of the grid, which enables you to filter and review the required data. The data that appears in the grid is view-only.
