Common Features and Links
You can access the common features and document the details of a patient using the links that are available on the standard visit template.
The following are the common features and links that are available in the dental workflow:
Field | Description |

Patient Information Card | You can configure the Patient Information Card in File Maintenance. You can set patient alerts, send emails, document telephone conversations, send a task, and track the time a patient spends during the visit. |
Risk Level | You can select one of the color coded columns to associate a risk level to a patient on On the Risk Stratification template. In addition, you can view the selected risk level (1-6) and the associated level color. |
Risk Factors | You can document a patient's risk factor details on the Risk Factors Config template. The risk indicators for tobacco use (TOB), hypertension (HTN), diabetes (DM), and coronary artery disease (CAD) are available. |
Care Team | You can consolidate a list of care team members for a patient. |
Contagion Risk | You can document the exposures that a patient has had to contagions, and if the patient had travelled to areas with a high risk of exposure to contagions. |
HCC | You can view and update the diagnoses for Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding. |
Document Library | You can view the list of documents that is used to generate information. |
Dental Care | You can document patient's caries risk and sealant details on the Dental Caries Risk/Sealants template. |
Tobacco | You can document the details of a patient's tobacco use and methods for tobacco cessation. |
Referrals | You can place or manage orders for referrals for other specialists, locations, therapies, and durable medical equipment (DME) on the Referrals Orders template. |
Exclusions/Measures | You can manage exceptions and view measure details on the Exceptions/Measures template. |
Care Guidelines | You can verify or update the information related to lab or radiology order processing, care guidelines, screening questions, vital signs, immunizations, nutrition, and drug therapy. |
Global Days | You can track the number of post-op days remaining for a patient who had a surgical procedure. |
History Review | You can document the review status of the medical, surgical, family, and social histories of a patient. |
